Supermodel Joan Smalls, Writer and TV host Derek Blasberg, Supermodel Candice Swanepoel , Baseball legend Alex Rodriguez, social media superstar Cameron Dallas, and Fashion designer Brandon Maxwell come to Pier 92 in New York City for Kia’s Stinger Runway Race Challenge. These Celebrities drag raced against each other while driving the new 2017 Kia Stinger Turbo. The track was set up in a way that the crowd and drivers could hear and feel the power of this newly designed car. The crowd cheered when each celebrity raced, going faster and faster than each other. For the win Supermodel Candice Swanepoel got the win with fasted top speed and quickest time.
This event was supervised by professional Drifter and Stunt driver Matt Powers ” Escape Plan 3″ and Stunt Coordinator and Stunt Driver TJ White from T Minus Productions. These professionals over saw the construction and design of the track and also rode passenger in the cars with the drivers to instruct and keep them safe while letting the celebrities enjoy there experience with the Kia Stinger GT.

Amazon’s The Grand Tour with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May came to Los Angeles to make a statement of why they are the premiere car show on television. Using millions of dollars of vehicles from Aston Martin, Mercedes, Lamborgini, Rolls Royce , Mike Ryans Freightliner Race Semi, Porsche and one of a kind vehicles driving in the Mohave dry lake bed while the host comes blasting through the lines in brand new Mustangs.
This was done with professional drivers and some driving their personal cars. In doing so it took several hours of rehearsal to the over 50 plus drivers to be able to drive at a high rate of speed and hold there mark for several miles while the host come racing though the line. Action Director TJ White from T Minus Productions was brought in to supervise and design the action along with Safety consultant Adam Atella. Using experienced consults helps a production not only be safe of save time while actually filming. This saves a production money in the long run.
Revolutionary Mindovereye Productions takes a concept from inception to reality in this dynamic commercial for the new 2016 Honda Civic for there new ad campaign Dream Track created by the people on social media. This could be very complicated process but using a full service production company like Mindovereye allows an ad agency to follow the process in one location from concept, to shooting, to post productions. Mindovereye known for working with companies like Honda, Motortrend, Nike, Chevy, and Dodge. Their type of branded content allows the consumer to get a more intimate experience with the product.
Working with a brands like Honda allows everyone on the creative team to push the envelope on the look, style, and performanceof the new 2016 Honda Civic. When the creative team created these type of stunts they contacted a stunt coordinator to see what was safe and feasible for their shoot. On this particular shoot the stunt coordinator was able to assist with the SFX Supervisor the fabrication of the car to make this all possible. Working with the right Car prep company like LA Prep helped with the set up of the car to make sure the integrity of the car was not damaged while doing these type of stunts.
TJ White from T Minus Productions was brought in to over see the stunt driving. He brought in Professional Stunt Driver Matt Powers to drive the car. Designing the tracks and testing the equipment and cars was done before even trying to perform these stunts in these cars. Musical Artist like Weeknd are always trying to be as creative as possible in their music videos. In the Weeknd’s latest music video Party Monster the concept was all about neon light, a sexy woman and fast cars. Making these expensive cars drift and slide around is very difficult. These cars have computers in them to stabilize the drive and give you high performance while keeping the car in total control. When you are stunt driving you are trying to push the car to it limits while being in control while making it look dynamic in the camera.
This is only done with the supervision of an experienced Stunt Coordinator and Stunt Driver. A Stunt Coordinator over sees the stunt driving in the scene while helping the director and production pick and prep the right car for the shot. The Stunt Coordinator will also help the director design the action in the scene while doing is safely. This can take time and money prepping the car to make the car do what it does in movies like Fast and the furious. These skilled Stunt drivers have years of driving experience before they get the chance to do a driving stunt on camera.

Dodge had a big part in this latest addition to the Fast and the Furious franchise. They also did on this latest music video for G-Eazy. Bringing out a 2017 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat allowed Stunt Coordinator TJ White from T Minus productions the ability to coordinate a drifting stunt around G-Eazy while he was performing at night in downtown Los Angeles. Having the horsepower the hellcat has allowed the Stunt driver the ability to be in total control of the vehicle while in a drift around the singer.
Chevy has been an agressive American car company leading the charge in advertising there new line of cars and trucks across all platforms of Print, TV, and internet advertising. This bold move has increased there vehicle sales and has gotten them more exposure around American and Latin markets this last year.
Chevy’s ad agency tapped director Zack Merck at Make Productions to create and oversee these productions getting the attention of millions of people. Using amazing sets and production design, while traveling around the United States for these commercials gives a director many options when it comes to look and style. One thing this production team knows is that to show of the trucks and cars in the best possible way they have to use professional stunt drivers. This is what they did on these commercials below by bringing in T-Minus Productions and there professional drivers. Using Professional drives helps the Director and production crew display a car or truck the same way you would display a painting at a museum or show horse at a competition. It takes years of experience to have these skilled drivers even set foot on a set like these scene in the commercials below.
With the popularity of the Nitro Circus, X Games and MTV the audience has gotten even more savvy when watching TV or streaming videos on the internet. When you have these young skater kids or the guys from MTV’s Jackass filming these extreme stunts with there go pros and iphones you have to up your game when filming a extreme sports commercial.
Stern Bikes known for there aggressive riding on there mountain bikes wanted to show there customers the suspension of there bike by filming an aggressive chase between a bike and ford mustang. This was done by using a qualified Stunt Coordinator that designed and supervised the action scene. The Stunt Coordinator over saw the car modifications to be able to spin the car around to a 180. He also hired the stunt driver to drive through those turns sometimes reaching 80 mph while filming from a camera car. This was all done on a closed roads.
Lee Jeans Commercial went big with Stunts to show off there jeans. Using a stunt rider to drive a Harley Davidson down the road at 65 MPH and then standing on the seat while being filmed.
Working with motorcycles can be difficult. Different bikes have a different set of problems. Contacting someone knowledgeable in motorcycles can help a production source the right bike, the right rider and customize it to do what you want it to for the shot.
Director Colin Tilly bringing Stuntmen center stage for his most recent music video “I wanna Know” from Alesso ft. Nico &Vinz. Colin working with T Minus Productions’ Stunt Coordinator TJ White for many years came up with the concept. Working with so many stunt performers over the years seeing them putting there life and health on the line was very interesting. He wanted to show a story of a stuntman coming into work like any other day doing big stunts while not being appreciated by many. This is said to be true by many in the industry. #StandupforStunts was created to bring awareness for stunt performers trying to get recognized by the Academy of art and sciences for Film to receive an Oscar.
Stunt performers usually work in the shadows in the film industry to give the illusion that actors are performing there own stunts. Colin’s experience with stunt performers over the years excited himself to be able to feature them in Alesso’s most recent music video “I wanna go” with over 3 million views on youtube in a week or so. Another thing to add to the creative genius of this project is that it was shot in one day….
